We are working with a local construction worker who has had a steady job until recently when he was informed it would be a few weeks until the next job started. As a result, he has fallen behind on paying for a room at a local hotel (which is paid weekly). We are walking with him through finding another construction job, saving funds to go towards an apartment and car, and helping him to get back on his feet. This involves helping him with a week or two of rent, until funds begin coming in from the new job.
We need financial assistance to help him as we are not set up at the moment to fund hotel stays. We have resources that assist with hotel stays, but for the majority of them, it takes months to get an appointment to be seen, and several more weeks/months to get approved. His needs are urgent – and there is a plan in place for long-term financial stability.
