Outreach
We meet every Saturday in Raleigh, NC, to walk around and meet individuals and families who are struggling financially and are in need of things that we tend to take for granted – a roof over our head, food to eat, transportation, etc. These are stories about the people we encounter each week as we get to know folks and build a community of people helping people!
Sandwiches, Clothes and Fellowship
It was a wonderful day at the outreach! We made 36 sandwich bags and handed them out within an hour of arriving! One lady refused a bag when we were passing it around, saw some others folks eating and came up and asked us if she could get one. As she unwrapped the...

Food, Fellowship and Prayers

In Need of Men’s Winter Clothes and Women’s 2-3x Clothes and a Jacket
We have had a lot of wonderful clothing donations! Over the past few weeks with temperatures getting colder in the mornings, we have been handing out fall and winter clothing along with the sandwich bags. We bring boxes of women's and men's long-sleeve shirts,...
Trials and Errors Assisting Others

The Rainbow After the Storm
The past two weeks have been filled with ups and downs. Losing someone to drugs that was making great strides to get back on their feet is never easy. Through that really rough storm, changes have started in others and people have been brought together who may not...
Assistance Needed for Construction Worker in-between Jobs
We are working with a local construction worker who has had a steady job until recently when he was informed it would be a few weeks until the next job started. As a result, he has fallen behind on paying for a room at a local hotel (which is paid weekly). We are...
Gone Too Soon
I met Larry through the outreach we do every Saturday. He was with others who were looking for assistance with a new tent and sleeping bags. We were able to find them through a good friend, Janet. When she delivered them, she took a photo of Larry and Jen, who...
