STORIES FROM OUR OUTREACH

We meet every Saturday in Raleigh, NC, to walk around and meet individuals and families who are struggling financially and are in need of things that we tend to take for granted – a roof over our head, food to eat, transportation, etc.  These are stories about the people we encounter each week as we get to know folks and build a community of people helping people!

TINY HOME PROJECT

Gene Call is working with Corey Purdie with Home Transitional Network to build tiny homes for individuals through G.R.A.C.E.  The first tiny home was built in October 2022 for Mr. Kevin a Craven County man who suffers from Charcot neuroarthropathy.

A MESSAGE FROM GENE

Gene Call is working with A HAND UP and Home Transitional Network to assist individuals and families to get back on their feet through building tiny homes, assisting them with resources and sharing the path to Jesus with them so that they are held and loved through life’s ups and downs.

THE LUKE PROJECT

This is the work of Melanie Paul, who spent 50+ years searching for God within different religions and through the ups and downs of life, to have found Jesus through the reading of Luke.

Melanie decided to share who she came to know of Jesus through the readings with others who may be searching as well.  This is still a work in progress.

READING THROUGH THE BIBLE

Melanie Paul has been reading through the Bible, each day, one chapter at a time.  The insight that has been received as a result has been life changing and has really helped her when going through life’s ups and downs!

She shares this journey with others in the hopes that they may learn to rely on Jesus as well through the ups and downs of life.

Peter’s Declaration About Jesus

Peter’s Declaration About Jesus

Luke 18 - 20 One day Jesus left the crowds to be alone with his disciples.  He asked them, “Who do people say I am?”  “Well,” they replied, “some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say you are one of the other ancient prophets risen from the dead.” ...

Deuteronomy 11

Moses strongly encourages the people to not only remember all that they had witnessed since their departure from Egypt and all that God had done for them along the way, but to pass it on to their children and future generations as they will not have the experiences,...
